Fact check on women safety in Afghanistan.
After conquering Kabul, the Taliban have once again resumed their rule in Afghanistan. 75% of the country is under them and the situation has become terrific. Amidst all this, the status of women in the country seems to deteriorate and it appears that they are the most affected category in this crisis.

26 year old, Habiba who is currently studying at University says, " The Taliban has shut down schools and colleges for women, and only burqa shops have been opened.
Among them, only the burqas made of a thick fabric that provides complete coverage are preferred the most.

What does the future hold for the women of Afghanistan?
The Taliban has banned women from availing their basic rights. As per them, women will have all the rights but under Sharia Law.
1. Women are not allowed to continue their studies further, schools, colleges and offices have been closed for them.
2. They will not be allowed to get out of their house without a man accompanying them.
3. Taliban has made it compulsory for women to wear a burqa and if anybody goes against their rules, brutal punishment is being given.
Women, over there are sharing their pain and fighting for their freedom which every citizen deserves.
26 year old, Habiba who is currently studying at University says, " The Taliban has shut down schools and colleges for women, and only burqa shops have been opened.

Further, she added that her mother is begging her sister and Habiba to wear a burqa because she thinks this can protect them from the Taliban.
They have never worn a burqa before, and she also feels that agreeing to wear it will mean they have surrendered to the Taliban and are allowing them to control. She is scared that her hard work and achievements will go in vain if she surrenders to them.
22-year-old Aisha, who is studying international relations at Kabul University shares she was very close to completing her final semester. In 2 months she would have been a graduate but now it looks next to impossible.
Let us look at the most surprising element of this case: Feminists all around the world have not yet spoken anything on the issue, nor have they raised their voices or supported the women of Afghanistan. Why is this so?
Afghanistan is terror-struck and the women over there are back to square one in fighting for their lives. People are in a state of great shock and they have become completely numb. They are clueless on what to feel and their hopes are dying for the future.
