UNDERSTANDING JIHADISM WITH REFERENCE TO ISIS : [B.29]

 CHAPTER 5.2

ISIS RECRUITMENT IN INDIA

Hello everyone,

In the previous blogs, we understood the mechanism of jihadism in a brief manner. This blog will focus on how the organizations like ISIS and other domestic jihadi organizations targets people from our country, brainwashes them and compels them to turn against their own country. If you are new to the blog, I recommend you to read my previous blogs of this series of jihadism for detailed understanding.

Let's get started,

The soft targets of jihadi organizations have been  non Muslim women , widows and their children. Incidentally Kerala  has been one of the main states among all the Indian states for carrying out recruitments and religious conversions of women. In July 2016, it came into light that at least 11 people including women and children were in ISIS controlled territory. Most recently a new video titled Khorasan files: the journey of Indian 'Islamic state' widows. In this video, women who were part of ISIS are confessing  about their experiences. To watch the full video, you can click on the link TSCB ARCHIVES to verify the claims.

These organizations reach out to widows, convince them to believe that they have a secured future ahead. This acts as a trap for the women as they have been made to believe that they will be supported financially and their children will be raised in the best manner. When the women fall into their bait, they brainwash them and make them stand against every non Muslim Indian, after this they are made to enter into organizations like ISIS.

Everybody is oblivion about the working of ISIS, but there is another lobby that functions in the same manner. They are also involved in brainwashing non Muslim women, female graduates and non Muslim widows. A lot of political support is provided to them indirectly which gives them a push in fulfilling their motto. In the name of NGO's and in for the betterment of minorities in India and lower caste Hindus, these people make large conversions possible on a large scale. Due to the religious and political backup provided to them, it is very difficult to defame them because in the name of secularism, unfortunately every voice raised appears to be communal. Everybody remembers the case of Nikita tomar who was shot dead because she refused to convert her religion. This is an example of the situation that this religious conversion is going at such a vast scale that even when you are reading this blog, somewhere they are continuously engaged in the fulfillment of their aim.

There are many organizations working like student Islamic movement of India [SIMI], the Indian mujahidin are the largest radical Islamic mobilization India has ever seen. The core idea behind SIMI and these groups is the establishment of Islamic state in India. They reject democracy, nationalism because it is against the will of Allah.

After the issue of demolition of babri masjid, SIMI took radical and aggressive actions against Hindus and other non Muslim communities. A ban was imposed on the organization in 2001 under the Prevention of Terrorism Act [POTA]. This ban gave birth to organizations like- PFI, SDPI, KFD which aim to empower minority of India{especially Muslims}and their main objective is interconnected with SIMI. Organizations like - PFI and SDPI  were seen actively participating in the anti CAA protests too.  Till now I have talked about the origin of jihad, its functioning , its emergence in India and how it is one of the biggest threat to humanity. I believe I have been able to provide some fruitful facts to you and now the decision is in our hands to distinguish between things that are taking place around us rapidly.
